IT Club June BBQ 2007

The BBQ was totally fun, except that there were lots of leftover. I think we bought too much satay. OBVIOUS! We had 2 packet left. Oh my gosh. That's like 2/3 of what we bought. Next time buy 100 satay enough already. Had loads of left over for hotdog and wings, and the fried rice also too much.

Woke up at 7 plus to get ready for school. We were having Games Day in the morning. So we left the house at 8.00.

The road was super jammed lor. I got stuck at Hougang fo almost 1 hour. Reach school only at around 10. It was totally crazy. Then I ended up reaching school at around 10am. Berwin came at around 10 almost, just slightly later then me. Luckily they only ask Berwin to do the Chicken Dance.

So it was soccer all the way until 10.30am I think, then we had half-time break. The sun was getting hotter, so I was pretty worried that the juniors will get heat stroke, so I got all of them to go gym. Obviously they weren't happy about it, but I had no choice. I didn't want the situation of people falling sick.

Gym lasted for 1/2 hour or so, and it was time for their lunch break, but not before they did some push ups and 1 slow round around the school. After the debrief they were off to lunch. I went to look through the cupboard and see what I can use. After that, JJ came came and the 2 of us plus Ze Wei and Yi Qi went for lunch at parkway.

We ate at KFC as usual. After that, we just went to loiter around Parkway and looked at a lot pf shoes. My gosh. How I wish I got the money for them, but the sad thing is, I don't even have money for 1 pair. *Cry*

At 2.30, Ze Wei's mum came and Yi Qi, together with Ze Wei and his parents, went to get the food. JJ and I went to Royal Sporting House and looked at even more shoes again, before going to the bus stop to go back VS. It was raining pretty heavily, so I called my parents to pick me up from parkway instead of the school as I was going KK for my checkup before coming back for the BBQ.

So we dropped JJ off at school and I went for my checkup. Ryan called me when I was on the car, and I found out how dumb can he be. It was worse than I expected, seriously.

[On the phone]

Ryan - The juniors are all here already
Me - Ok
Ryan - So what do they do now?
Me - Get them to go Ze Wei's house to get the food
Ryan - The food is here already
Me - Then get them to poke the chicken
Ryan - So early?
Me - They got nothing to do anyway
Ryan - But it's so early now
Me - But they're free right?
Ryan - But it's so early now
Me [Shouts] BUT THEY ARE FREE! GET THEM TO POKE THE CHICKEN!
Ryan - Do you know the condition of the food?
Me [Shouts] How would I know? I'm not there
Ryan - Ok..
Me - Get Ze Wei tell them what to do
Ryan - Ok fine

This is how dumb Ryan can get. So at around 6.30 I got back to school with the fire starters. I bought them from Little India cause they ran out of it. So I went back and helped to start the fire.

The food was good. Mr You came as well. Discussed about the jersey with Gordon and the others came in and we started talking-cork. We had a 'nightwalk', so I made them close their eyes, and when I said 'Let the nightwalk of 2007 begin!' And water was splashed on them. Haha.

So we finish packing up at around 10 plus and kept our things with the BB. Stayed in school and just walked around and played abit of soccer. The BBQ was great but loads of leftover food, so we will buy lesser next time. Haha.
