Bullet In A Bible
Damn happy
Bought 'Bullet In A Bible', finally. For those who dunno, it's the Green Day live at Milton Keynes National Bowl DVD in 2005
Saw it a few days back at Sembawang at Compass Point. Went to buy the next day. Although it's NC16 because of the political comments made by Billie during the concert, and constant swearing in their performance, I managed to buy it without being checked. It's a damn nice concert la
I've watched it previously on youtube for a few times already, but that did not stop me for watching a few times more. I love their live performances la, and the way Billie got the crowd so excited was simply great. Tre was pretty good as well, with constant throwing of drumsticks and all sorts of facial expressions while playing
It's like one of the best live performances I've seen man. Their live sounds way better than album version lor. Tre made a comment before the start of the concert
Someone: Why are there no clouds in the sky?
Tre: Because God wants to see his favourite band again!
Green Day, in my opinion, is like one of the best punk rock band out there la. Better than bands like MCR. I mean like MCR is pretty good larh, but they do not have that factor that Green Day has, maybe I should say the charisma that they have
On a more depressed note, my phone bill totally bursted la. I exceeded my bill by 40 bucks lor. There goes all the albums which I want to buy. TT
I got addicted to the song St. Jimmy. It's a damn fast paced song. If you don't look at the lyrics, you can't hear what they are singing, but it's a really good song la. You guys should go listen to it
I find Green Day really good, but I guess a lot people can't appreciate their music. Haiz. But I guess it's because they did not see their live performances. I used to see Green Day as a band that's like normal only, average music. But after seeing their live, after watching Billie, Tre and Mike play at the concert, my opinion totally changed la. They became my favourite band. Go youtube and search for Bullet In A Bible. I'm sure you guys will love their music more after watching their live =)
