Knocking on Heaven's Door
The song that's playing on our RMB100 speakers now.
Such a simple song with such simple meaning, yet it's so powerful.
The first week of our trip in China is almost over. It feels really, unreal, in a way. I've never been away all alone overseas with only my friends. I would not say I'm missing home a lot, but there's the sense of security that I can't feel over here.
The sense of familiarity, the sense of being in control, is lacking over here. I guess nothing's new here anymore. It's time I settled down properly, and embrace the rest of the trip.
